Whoa hello, FuckYeahSEGA still exists.
- It’s a beautiful balance between adventure and nostalgia.

“Drowning” from Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, & Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
Definitely one of the scariest themes in all of SEGA.
I searched for this today. The music certainly brings back memories.
SEGA Master System: Jungle Book (1992)
this happens to be one of the only Master System games that I don’t own anymore (and hugely wish I still did). It used to be one of my favourite games for the console, simply because it wasn’t as easy as most. I remember it being incredibly creepy at times, too.
Have a listen to the soundtrack here (once you get past the annoying Australian gamer’s intro) - especially the later levels. It was such a brilliant game.
The awkward jumping in mid-air and the brilliantly hidden gems. The monkey enemies that exploded and the fact your weapon was shooting bananas. Ah, 1992.
(A personal favourite) Sonic The Hedgehog dance remix…

Including well known hit themes - from the GENESIS version - such as:
Green Hill Zone, Marble Zone, Spring Yard Zone, Labyrinth Zone, Star Light Zone and Scrap Brain Zone.
Oh and this is my new favourite Sonic gif.

fuckyeasonic: Metal Sonic
“How appropriate to have a robot overlord rule a robot kingdom.” - Sonic Heroes
Everyone’s favorite artificial doppelgänger, Metal Sonic, was the 5th character introduced to the Sonic series. First appearing in Sonic CD, he was created by Dr. Robotnik. Objective? To change the past in order to create an empire for his master in the future. In the end, Sonic foils this plot, but, since then, Metal Sonic has appeared as a boss or playable character in multiple titles.
Early on, he followed Dr. Robotnik’s orders without question. Metal Sonic later rebels against his seemingly incompetent creator, and attempts to take over the world by himself, only to be stopped, as always, by his organic twin. After a short period of obedience, Metal Sonic once again breaks free from Dr. Robotnik’s control, and has been running on independent programming ever since.
Unlike most of the Doctor’s other robots, Metal Sonic is highly intelligent, which eventually leads him to seek freedom from his creator, whom he views as a failure. He shares all of Sonic’s normal abilities, and once held the ability to shape-shift. Unlike his twin, Metal Sonic is heartless. While Sonic’s main enemy, Dr. Robotnik, bears little, if any, hatred towards Sonic, Metal Sonic despises him. He longs to prove himself better than the hedgehog, and exists only to destroy Sonic.
LOOK at how wonderful the SEGA.com site looks today/this week!
Them characters of Super Monkey Ball 3D are so clever.
